Brackendene Communications is a spin-off from a long-established, family owned, contract publishing business based on the Hampshire / Surrey borders.

Online Press Office
We can archive all your press releases and downloadables - images, brochures, instruction manuals and so on - on our server so that they are readily available for your clients and the press. As an added bonus, should a disaster befall your computer system, this provides more than one off-site backup of your promotional data.

Copy Writing
We can write your press releases or any other copy you require in Plain English and devoid of the 'hype' that annoys journalists. Our in-house copywriter has more than 20 years experience as a journalist and editor, and is well acquainted with what is required to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.

We can edit any press releases or other copy that you have already written to ensure that it reads well and conveys the message you wish to get across to the reader. Distribution
We use a dedicated in-house list server to distribute material by e-mail directly to recipients and have a long-established relationship with a reliable and trustworthy London-based company that specialises in postal distribution. We can advise on database construction and maintainance for mailing lists, and can compile these for you if required.

Media Purchasing
We provide an in-house media buying service that specialises in obtaining the most advantageous rates for our clients when they wish to place advertisements in the trade and consumer press.

Print Design
We employ an LCP-trained, ex-Conde Nast designer who has unmatched experience in designing above- and below-the-line promotional and advertising material, brochures, magazines and point of sale products. Her main attribute is an impeccable sense of taste, which guarantees consistently clean, purposeful layouts.

Web Design
As you can see from this site, we believe in keeping things simple and business-like. Animations, music, and typographical gaudiness might appeal to some 'surfers' but we reckon that most visitors to a site simply want to obtain relevant information quickly. If they want entertainment they'll switch on the TV, which is far better suited to that than the web. That's not to say that we can't be 'flash' if you really want something glitzty...

Photography
We use two carefully selected photographers who can supply whatever you require from a simple pack shot to a complex, purpose-built room set. Both have comprehensively equipped studios and can also do location work. They will supply images in digital or film format. Our in-house art director will ensure that any images we provide are in strict accordance with your brief and requirements.
